DESCRIPTION:When: Sun 8th Nov 17:00 - 21:00\n\nFEAR ITSELF: THE CIRCLE Hosted by Ric Baines from Refugees from Reality Restrictions: Ages 18+ Experience: New players welcome Type: One-Shot Sunday 8th November\, 5pm till 9pm Fear Itself plunges ordinary people into a disturbing contemporary world of madness and violence - and inexorably draws them into confrontation with creatures of the Outer Dark\, a realm of alien menace. Will they learn how to combat the darkness? Or spiral tragically into insanity and death? THE CIRCLE An experimental drug trial goes horribly wrong when one of your fellow participants disappears. Figure out what happened to him\, or you’re next. GUMSHOE Fear Itself uses Pelgrane Press’ GUMSHOE system\, a set of roleplaying rules focused on gathering information and solving mysteries. GUMSHOE says that failing to get information is never interesting. When your character uses a relevant ability in a situation where there are clues to be found\, you always get them. This simple premise allows us to present rich\, layered mysteries in which the object is not to randomly stumble across a few key bits of information\, but to piece together the truth hidden within a larger web of clues.\n\nWhere: Board & Bean\, 21 South Street\, Chesterfield\, S40 1QX\, United Kingdom\n\nBook: https://order.boardandbean.co.uk
