During the Amity Island phase, the shark terrorizes swimmers while the hunters try to track its movements and keep beachgoers safe. Then, the action shifts to The Orca phase, where the hunters face the shark aboard a sinking ship. They must work together, using strategy and special cards, to fend off the shark's attacks. The game ends with either the hunters triumphing over the shark or the shark claiming victory by sinking the Orca.
