Step into a world of political intrigue and secrecy set in 1930s Germany. Players are secretly assigned roles as liberals or fascists, with one player taking on the hidden identity of Secret Hitler. The fascists work together to create distrust and advance their agenda, while the liberals must uncover and stop Secret Hitler before it's too late. The game begins with players closing their eyes, allowing the fascists to reveal themselves to each other, while Secret Hitler remains in the dark about their identities.

During each round, players elect a President and a Chancellor who will attempt to pass a law from a deck of options. If a fascist law is passed, the tension rises as players question if they've been betrayed. As the game unfolds, special government powers come into play, adding layers of strategy and chaos. The liberals aim to pass five liberal policies or eliminate Secret Hitler, while the fascists strive to pass six fascist policies or elect Secret Hitler as Chancellor after three fascist laws have been enacted.
