Set in the beautiful Burgundy region of High Medieval France, players become aristocrats managing their own princedoms. The goal is to build settlements and impressive castles, engage in trade along the river, explore silver mines, and benefit from the wisdom of travelers.

Players take turns selecting settlement tiles from the game board and placing them in their princedom, represented by their player board. Each tile has a unique function that activates when placed. Throughout the game, players choose from a variety of actions, such as placing tiles, delivering goods, or gaining worker tokens to influence their dice rolls. The game unfolds over five phases filled with rounds of strategic choices, and players earn victory points for completed regions, unused resources, and special bonuses. The player with the most victory points at the end wins!
