At the start, everyone appears human and united, but as the temperature drops and mistakes happen, suspicion starts to creep in. Players work together to gather supplies, build equipment, and prepare for the harsh Antarctic environment, while also facing threats like rabid dogs and a lurking alien entity.

To win, you must venture outside the safety of your camp, but doing so risks encounters with the alien. Each player can trade resources, share food, and help strengthen defenses, but be cautious-your fellow players might not be who they seem. With new mechanics in this edition, like the Frostbite system to keep everyone in the game longer and special keys for unlocking doors, every decision counts.
